Pinterest.....what can I say about Pinterest....
I LOVE it....and I hate it....(but hate in a good way....as in it's a very addicting site...lol)


There has been a lot of talk going around lately about the rules of pinterest and photographers sueing people for "pinning" their images....I just wanted to let everyone know that I am perfectly happy with it if you want to pin one of my watermarked images to Pinterest...and I'm not going to sue you as long as you DON'T try to claim the image as your own and don't modify it or crop out my logo.

I actually think it's awesome and would be honored if you pinned one of my images for inspiration or to share and would really enjoy seeing the images get pinned!

New Pricing 08/01/2011

As of August 1, 2011 there will be new prices for sessions as well as prints and accessories.  It's been 2...yes TWO years since we've actually raised them even though our vendors have upped their prices.  We think you will still find them to be very resonable and hope you will continue to rely on V7 Photos to "Capture a moment in your family's life, one portrait at a time."

As of this moment I have uploaded the general, senior and wedding brochures that will be effective 08/01/2011.  The rest will be revamped & uploaded in the coming week.  If you would like for us to drop a copy of the new brochure in the mail to you, please visit our facebook page at the link at the top of the page and click on the "Session or Appointment Request" option to the left and in the comment box put that you want a brochure (and what kind of brochure).  We will get it to you asap.  You are also welcome to come by the studio or call and we would be happy to give you one or mail it to you.

If you have had a session in the last 6 months, you may still order/reorder from your session at the current pricing for 6 months from the date of your session.  Hurry & call to set up your viewing appointment before your prices go up to the new pricing schedule.

puts together cares packages and ships them to our troops and V7 would like to help them out.

6/7/11 Facebook 700 Challenge!

I was just on the V7 Facebook Fan Page and saw we are only 4 from hitting 700 fans. I thought I'd do a little "Challenge" and have a little fun as we kick off the summer.....So V7 has decided to do a "700 Challenge"!

 It's really simple to enter and gets points. Everyone that participates can win something. All you have to do to enter is scroll down on the left column and click "Share". Post the message to your profile and don't forget to add a note that they need to comment that you sent them our way so you get your points. You can also post a status update with the info and tag our page by putting @V7Photos (doing this should pop up and allow you to link to our page). See below for additional ways to earn points.



What you can win:

The Limited Edition Sessions are $30 sessions, can include up to 6 people and you get 1-5x7 & 4 wallets of your favorite image. You also get a 5% discount on anything else ordered from your Limited Edition Session, and if you are a fan on facebook, you get a 10% discount. The Limited Edition Sessions are a set theme/backdrop and include up to 25 minutes of shoot time. We have sessions available on Saturday from 10am-7pm and on Friday & Monday sessions are available 1pm-7pm. The upcoming Limited Edition Sessions are:

New Summer Hours

Hi everyone!!!  I hope this year has treated you well so far.  We have been really hopping at the studio with Senior Sessions.

We have some exciting (I hope) news for all of our clients....after lots and lots of praying and researching and discussing and praying some more, I have decided to change the hours at the studio.  We are going to have "Summer Hours" May 10 - Sep. 1. 

V7 Photos New Hours will be:
Studio Open Monday 1pm-5pm, all other times are by appointment only. 

I hope everyone likes the new hours and understands why I felt we needed to make the change.
I truly believe that the new hours will benefit everyone by allowing us to truly and completly focus on each and every client that comes through the door.  By doing "appointment only", when you book a session or need to come in to view your photos, order, or pickup your photos, your time is your time alone and this will also help work around your schedule as well.  That way, if you can't be at the studio by 5pm, just call and let us know when would be good for you and we will set up a time to meet you there.  90% of what we do is one on one and this way there won't be interuptions when you are at the studio. 

We will have the studio phone forwarded to the studio cell so whichever phone # you call, we will answer or get right back to you if we are with someone.  Calls will be answered and/or returned Monday-Friday 1pm-7pm.  If you have a last minute booking, we will return the call and try to get you in if at all possible.

Howdy!!! 3/23/10

Just wanted to say Hi and let everyone know that although we've had our main computer "pass away", we are getting caught back up and if you session isn't up yet....it will be soon!  Thanks for your patience while we are fixing the computers....we have got the ability to scan again so that's great...now to get the restores we have on the books done....I really love seeing photos that have been destroyed by age come back to life.

We have been busy little bees around the studio doing some spring cleaning and shooting lots of Senior Sessions....we still have a few spots open so hurry and book your session today!

Happy New Year!!!  I hope this post finds everyone settling into 2010.  We've been busy busy busy at the studio.  We are in the middle of a little "Spring Cleaning" or I guess I should say Winter cleaning since it's been sooo very cold.

I thought as a way to start out the year, I'd share something about me that y'all might not know.  I LOVE taking photos of the sky...don't ask me why....I just love all the ways the lights and clouds mix.  I always have a "throw down" point and shoot camera in my purse so I can snap pics even if I for some reason don't have my "brick" with me.  (The "Brick" is our knick name for my main camera because it's so heavy..kinda like a brick.)  anyways....I was clearing the card and looking through to see what I had snapped pics of Oct. 25 - Jan. 11 and found several sky photos I wanted to share with y'all.  Enjoy!!!

Oct. 25, 2009  ....I love how the light pokes through the clouds...makes me think of God reaching down to touch our lives.

12/13/09  If it wasn't sooo very foggy, you'd know there were more trees in the pasture behind this one.

12/21/09  First photo was on my way to the studio in the morning...love the tubes of clouds going across the sky...... 2nd & 3rd are on my way home that same night...like how they are kinda whispy...the photos didn't do it justice though.
